being a tourist in Malacca!

it has been planned for some time to go to malacca..dear's friend is getting married! however, closer to the date, a colleague of mine is in kl from germany..so we decided to be a tourist for the day..haha.. =) we drove from kl in the morning..took us around 90 minutes..

finally arrived at the famous spot!

this is a must for every tourist..
since we wanted to be like one..we joined in with the fun!
hello kitty power! =P

we visited all the usual places and finally stopped at the famous asam pedas restaurant for lunch..food was good but kinda pricey! =/ after that we decided to drive to klebang..main reason was for the beach..but along the way..we stopped for the most refreshing coconut shake!

just a shop at the side of the road..
but the taste is YUMMYYYYY! =D

look at the queue!!!
and my cute man lining up..can u spot him? =P

the queue was worth the wait! =)
*satisfied*

before going to the beach..we decided to stop by the famous mosque which is facing the malacca straits..i didnt thought of entering since arif (another colleague) was there to show them..but kirsten, stefan's wife needed a companion to show her how to suit up..haha..so i joined..

all ready to go in..
i look like an ustazah! hahahaha!

dear's shorts were too sexy..hahaha!
seems like we are starting up some food stall..
roti canai and karipap for sale..hahahah! =P

the most different pic together ever!
*funny*

finally at the beach..
way cleaner and nicer than i expected!
WOW!

in the evening we went to jonker street, however, after a while..my colleagues drove back and we continued.. =)

the biggest pineapple tart!
hehe..we bought the mini ones and were very nice!
the kind that melts in your mouth! =)

this is unique!
ice cream at the bottom..oreo crumbs as the soil
we became herbivors..haha

before going to our hotel..we enjoyed our favorite!
satay celup!!! *burps*

the next morning..we went for a typical chinese stall breakfast =) i love breakfast like this..not crazy heavy but yummy! hehehe...

my duck noodles..
dear had mee goreng mamak chinese style =)

we went back to jonker street for lunch!
however, this time the chinese rice is kinda dissapointing..huhu!
expensive and no longer smooth! =(

our sunday afternoon was spend with a relaxing ayurvedic massage..it was our first time..it was a process where oil is poured all over our bodies and followed by a very relaxing massage..the ending was sauna..felt so pampered!! =)

all glammed up for the wedding!
congrats andy & akmal!

its always beautiful to witness a wedding =)

im so THANKFUL for such nice WEEKEND!
