::felt like a tourist::

today was the 1st day i met up wit my best fren..angelyn..i was frens with her almost 11 years..n now she is back from canada!!! wat else? time 2 meet up..updates from wer we stopped las..(which is almost a year)..as usual..she is always my one n only fren who works with las minute plans..i called her around 12pm to ask if she wud like to go for spa..n she said she is ok wit it..so we made reservations..n there we go.. =) 2.30pm..booked!! so i picked her up around 2pm..n off we went to DANAI SPA@TANJUNG BUNGAH...on the way..we saw an accident..bad accident..involve a viva, CRV and wira...angelyn sketch a simple map to the spa..thank God we din lose our way (s usual..she got good sense of directions..hehe)..

wen we arrived there..we were asked to change into our batiks..den we were brought into our cosy rooms..it was very comfy n the music were very relaxing..we chose to b in the same room so we cud chat..(not so lonely n bored it guess)..

90 mins of aromatheraphy massage - relaxation
40 mins of javanese lulur scrub - detox
20 mins of milk bath - whitening

in the whitening process..hehe

after our 2 and a half hours treatment..we were allowed to enjoy the jacuzzi..its outdoor! but we were thinking of the benefits we had from the milk bath..so we din wanna soak in the outdoor jacuzzi..but taking pics is a must..hahaha...

it was a great new experience..n we definitely had fun!!! (this wont b our 1st n last rite? haha)..after that..we decided to haf dinner at SUNSET BISTRO..its about 15mins drive from the spa..n again..gelyn noes the way.. =) wen we arrived..we were quite early for sunset..so we ordered our food..i ordered spaghetti bolognese (RM14.90) and special fruit punch (10.90)..

oh ya..there was a funny thing goin on while i was eating..there is this man..i think is a fortune teller..he was practicing his "CHI"..he cud stand with his head for as long s i finish my plate of spaghetti..incredible..n he is not dat young any more..hehe..

can any1 take up his challenge? =P

after all that..we were stil sitting n chit chatting..so we ordered banana split..yum yum..but we found ourselves hard to finish it in the end..but we stil did!!! =) *a pat on our backs..haha* b4 going home..we went to the famous tourist spot..TANJUNG BUNGAH PASAR MALAM..we parked in front of the EDEN restaurant..we managed to buy sum nice things..i bought a chain and a batik..angelyn bought batik n souvenirs for her frens back in her uni in canada..it was fun!! it was really nice to b pampered and enjoying the nite with a fren u love being around =)

im definately looking forward for more outings..

it was fun being like a tourist..hehe..from our luxurious spa to yummy food to nice warm beaches to our long stretch of pasar malam..now i realize y foreigners love PENANG!!! =P

now im gonna take a good rest n endulge in my relaxation i had from the spa.. =) good nite peeps!
